This is a mesh grill kit for a Dodge Dakota / Durango from 1997-2003. The kit includes 5 precut mesh pieces, mounting ties and metal wire.
These goes over top of the factory grill, and is not a replacement for the factory grill. The mesh pieces come powder coated (black) or raw (silver) and a rubber trim has been installed along the outer edge.

How do I open my hood after I install these mesh pieces?
You'll need to make a latch extension like the one shown
here or cut a hole in the upper passenger side mesh piece.
Do you include a hood latch extension rod?
No, we do not.
Can these be installed behind the grille openings instead of in front of them?
Yes, that's possible.
What if I don't have the factory grill slats still intact, can I still install these?
The factory grille slats need to still be equipped so the mesh pieces have something they can attach to.
